Nearly 90 Air Travels Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airfields
Analysis has identified that nearly 90 flights linked to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from UK airfields, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who assert they were victimized by the convicted child sex offender.
Aviation Records Uncover Trail of Travel
These aviation records were part of thousands of court documents and papers made public by Epsteinās estate that have been disclosed over the last year. The review found 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein ā featuring many that were not previously known ā landing or taking off from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unnamed female passengers were documented among the travelers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys happened after Epsteinās 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a underage person.
āIt was āappallingā that there had never been a āfull-scale UK investigationā into his dealings in the country,ā said US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.
British Victims and Legal Proceedings
Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epsteinās accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that individual has not received any contact by UK authorities, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had ānot received any new information that would support reopening the probe.ā They noted, āIf fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.ā
Continuing Document Release and Judicial Decisions
Proposed legislation to release all files held by the US government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of files are anticipated to be made public.
Additionally, a federal judge decided last week that the department could publicly release evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinās longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
